This Privacy Policy may be modified from time to time; the date of the most recent revision will appear on this page, so check back often. Continued access of any High Mountain Software web site, or sending of email to any High Mountain software email address, by you will constitute your acceptance of any changes or revisions to the Privacy Policy.

It is the goal of High Mountain Software to serve you, provide you access to information and support regarding our products and to easily order our products online, at the same time, protect your privacy. The following is a summary of the various ways we treat the information you may provide us while using our sites or public email addresses.

The Type of Information High Mountain Software Collects:
High Mountain Software generally collects personally identifying information with your specific knowledge and consent. For instance, when you make a purchase, subscribe to our mailing lists, or register for any portion of our services, you are asked to provide information, such as your e-mail address, name or phone number. For some support issues, you may be requested to provide further information related to the use of our products and, possibly some or all of your personal data entered into our software, which you provide with your specific knowledge and consent.

Technical Support and your Data:
For some technical support issues, we may need you to provide personal information you have entered into our software and, as can be the case with SpamEater Pro, this may also include the names and email addresses of people you have entered in the software. This information is sometimes required to locate the exact source of problems, and/or to attempt to duplicate your issue exactly such that we can get it resolved. All of this information will be maintained in the strictest of confidence, used only by High Mountain software personnel directly and upon closure of the incident, all copies of said data in our possession will be completely and permanently destroyed.

How Your Information is Used:
High Mountain Software uses this information to provide you with the service you have requested. For example, if you subscribe to any of our mailing lists, we may use your e-mail address to send you a confirmation notice and to send you the mailing list email messages. We may also use the information to communicate with you about new features, products or services. We will also use some of the information you provide (such as your name, email address, etc) in the creation of your software license file or key code.

High Mountain Software does not sell our users' email addresses or any of the personal information you may provide to us. This information is secured in offline databases and encrypted/access restricted online databases. Except as noted below, none of your information is ever shared with any other company or individuals outside of High Mountain Software. If you do not wish to receive communications from us, simply follow the unsubscribe instructions contained with any of the email messages from us.

If you choose to purchase items through features on our sites, we may forward your information to third parties for services such as credit card processing (Authorize.net) and order fulfillment (such as for CD or manual purchases - SwiftCD.com). All collected information is transmitted only via highly secure (HTTPS, SSL) encrypted data connections.

While High Mountain Software will seek to require such third parties as noted above, to follow appropriate privacy policies and will not authorize them to use any information we provide to them except for the express purpose for which it is provided, High Mountain Software does not bear any responsibility for any actions or policies of third parties.
